Are you ready to roll up your sleeves, join a warm-hearted team, and help turn donations into opportunity? Unlimited Thrift is more than just a discount store, every purchase, donation, and volunteer hour supports Life Unlimited’s mission of enriching the lives of adults with disabilities.

Volunteer Duties:

Sort and organize incoming donations (clothing, housewares, furniture, etc.)Greet and assist customers on the sales floorPrice, tag, and arrange merchandise for displayHelp with store upkeep, restocking, cleaning, and organizingSupport special events or sale weekends as neededAssist with donation drop-off and loading zone tasks

Kansas City community partners like you are vital to the success of this program. We create safe and affordable housing for our individuals with disabilities and it takes a village to continue those property care efforts.

RequirementsOne year commitment to maintaining a home.4-6 service projects throughout the year; projects last 2-4 hrs. with weekday and weekend options.House assigned after sign up to accommodate volunteers geographic location.Custom project times available upon request; dates and times dependent on maintenance staff availability.

The first step to serving with us is to register for a 30-minute orientation session below. While doing so, you'll complete a quick profile and then our volunteer department will follow-up with confirmation details.
